Garena Shells 2024 Redemption Rate Changes FAQ


Effective 1st October 2024, ‘new redemption rates’ will apply to all redemptions of Garena Shells.

The new redemption rates are listed down below:

These rates will be applied to all codes purchased from 1st October 2024 and you will be awarded the old redemption rates until 30th September 2024. Hurry and redeem your pins now!

1. How do I redeem my Garena pins?
  • Head over to https://shop.garena.my/app
  • Login to your Garena account
  • Select "Shell Top Up"
  • Select the RGG logo
  • Fill in the RGG pin
  • Click "Confirm"
2. What are Garena pins used for?

Garena pins are used to redeem Garena Shells. Garena shells can be converted into currency for games such as League of Legends, Free Fire, Call of Duty: Mobile, Arena of Valor, and many more!

3. Can I redeem my Garena pins before 30th September 2024?

Yes you may redeem your Garena pins at anytime.

4. What if I redeem my Garena pin by or before 30th September 2024?

Garena pins redeemed by or before 30th September 2024 will be entitled to the old redemption rates.

5. What if I redeem my Garena pin from 1st October 2024?

The new rates will apply to all Garena pins redeemed from 1st October 2024 regardless of when it was purchased. 

6. Can I refund my Garena pin purchase?

No, all purchases made on RGG are final and no refunds will be made.

7. Will I be rewarded extra Garena shells if I had purchased the pin by 30th September 2024?

We are unable to grant you extra Garena shells even if they were purchased and redeemed by 30th September 2024.

8. Will my Garena pin expire?

All Garena pins purchased on RGG are valid for 1 year. If the pins are unused after 1 year, they will be invalid and no refunds will be made. 

9. Why are there changes made to the redemption rates?

These changes come directly from Garena and we do not control the redemption rates of Garena shells. 

10. How do I purchase Garena pins?

Garena pins can be purchased on RGG by reloading your RGG wallet.
